All our designs are created and hand-painted with watercolors, in Germany. We love this authenticity and the warmth of the real hand drawing. It is very important to us to create designs that are not only cool and child friendly, but also will never risk of being unfashionable or out of trend.
Production
Curious Stories has its production facility in a GOTS certified factory in the city of Izmir in Turkey. The factory has specialised in processing organic cotton for over 20 years and in children’s clothing for 15 years.
The specification on organic cotton includes the fabric production as well as the printing and sewing processes. During production, only certain substances and processes are used that are as environmentally friendly as possible. No harmful chemicals are allowed in production. All employees at the factory are paid a much higher wage than usual in the industry. The core working hours are from 9 to 5, and they do not work in high heat.
